Poster Design

Even though you always wish that you could have more money to spend, there are

always people around you who are not as lucky as you. To help you remember this, your challenge is to research a charity on the internet, create a poster showing what charity you would donate your $100 to, and write a paragraph describing why you would donate your money to your specific charity. As always, you may work with a partner or alone, the choice is up to you. Help create a future that is brighter for lose who have less than you!  You need to follow the steps below to successfully complete your task.

1)  Read the book Alexander, Who Used to be Rich Last Sunday and create a sequence

map showing the sequence of events in the story. To do this, go to the website

http://www.inspiration.com /home.cfm and use it to create a sequence map.

2)  Chose a charity that you would like to donate your money to. To do this, click on the

websites below and decide what charity you would donate your money to. Some

websites you might want to look at are:

3)  Create a poster that shows the name of the charity you are donating to and a

slogan telling other’s why they should donate to this charity. The picture on your

poster should show how your $100 donation would help others less fortunate than

     you.

4)  Use the information you learned on your charity’s website to write a paragraph

describing why you decided to choose your specific charity. You need to use

details from your website to support your reason for donating your $100.
